Albummet afspejler bandets mange musikalske facetter – fra de fortættede kvartet-koncerter på utallige folkeklubber til intense og kraftfulde orkestersamarbejder – fra den feststemte pub til den fyldte koncertsal. – Og altid Bascos umiskendelige energi, de tætte harmonier, harpiks-støvet og begejstringen for både musikkens rødder og nye retninger. “Three Times into Something Wild” is an apt title for the journey and transformation that the well-known and multiple Grammy-winning Danish folk band Basco has undergone on their upcoming album. The music weaves intimacy and grand orchestral music together in dreamlike textures.
“After almost two decades of playing together, and having worn out not one, but two rhythm players along the way, over what has become a fairly respectable collection of releases, we have gone and done something a little different… Our new album “Three Times into Something Wild” ” Basco.
The album reflects the band’s many musical facets – from the condensed quartet concerts at countless folk clubs to intense and powerful orchestral collaborations – from the festive pub to the packed concert hall. – and always with Basco’s unmistakable energy, the dense harmonies, the resin dust and the enthusiasm for both the roots of music and new directions.
