Folktronica duoen VAEV udgiver den 12. April deres 2. fuldlængde album, Sløjfen.
Incl. musikalske gæster (CD + digitalt)

De to folkemusikere David Mondrup og Poul Lendal kommer med hver sin musikalske bagage. Tilsammen udgør de folktronica duoen der ny-fortolker de helt traditionelle danske folkemusikmelodier.

David Mondrup, som er lærer i elektronisk musik på Engelsholm Højskole. Han er uddannet rytmisk musiker fra konservatoriet i Århus.
Poul Lendal er udnævnt rigsspillemand i 2014 og har spillet 45 år med folkemusik trioen Lang Linken, Harpens Kraft m.fl. Han har også i et halvt liv undervist på Lilleskolen Odense og Det fynske Musikkonservatoriums folkemusiklinje (som han var med til at starte).

The folktronica duo VAEV release their second album Sløjfen, April 12th and this album with guests.

David Mondrup  and Poul Lendal ar well known and highly respected musicians from the Danish folk music scene and representing the traditional fiddle music and the electronic folk music.
As a folktronica duo they work together with interpretations of traditional Danish folk tunes.

David Mondrup, who is a teacher of electronic music at Engelsholm Højskole. He is a trained rhythmic musician from the conservatory in Aarhus.
Poul Lendal was appointed as “Rigsspillemand” in 2014 and has played more than 45 years with the folk music trio Lang Linken, Harpens Kraft and others. He has also taught for half his life at Lilleskolen Odense and the Funen Music Conservatory’s folk music line (which he helped start).

“We’ve put a lot of effort into it, and we hope you’ll enjoy listening to it. This time we have guests with us, and they must all be thanked for their contribution. Thanks also to our sources from traditional folk music. Both guests and sources are mentioned on the title pages”.
